   As the Deputy Communications Director to Assembly Minority Leader Greta Neubauer, I assist the Communications Director in shaping and executing the communications strategy for Rep. Neubauer and the Assembly Democratic Caucus. My responsibilities include-Assume key Communications Director duties in their absence for continuity of messaging, press relations, and communication workflows-Assist with rapid response, including reviewing and developing timely statements, social media content, and talking points in response to current events and political news-Help plan, coordinate, and execute press conferences and public events, including managing logistics, preparing materials, and handling onsite setup-Lead the development of social media content for Rep. Neubauer and the Assembly Democratic Caucus, including crafting compelling copy, creating engaging graphics, and producing videos across multiple platforms-Support and assist the Communications Director by attending caucus meetings, fielding staff and member questions, and providing input on communications strategy-Monitor traditional and social media for emerging news, rapid response opportunities, and mentions of Rep. Neubauer to ensure timely engagement and messaging-Draft talking points and remarks for Rep. Neubauer’s public events and assist with fielding communications requests from members and staff-Assist in drafting traditional media content, including press releases, talking points, speeches, and Rep. Neubauer\'s monthly \"Labor Times\" column-Clip, caption, and distribute video snippets from committee hearings, floor sessions, interviews, and other events for effective use by caucus members and staff-Assist in maintaining an up-to-date statewide press list, field media inquiries, and support rapid response communications for the Caucus.
