I am a first-class LLB Law Graduate with a strong academic foundation in law and practical experience gained through legal internships and a fixed-term role as a legal assistant. I am actively seeking a training contract to qualify as a solicitor, where I can apply my legal knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership in a dynamic firm. My work experience has allowed me to develop key skills in legal research, case analysis, drafting legal documents, and client communication. Balancing my studies with hands-on roles has strengthened my attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. I have demonstrated leadership and teamwork through roles such as team leader in the Dartmoor Ten Tors Challenge and rugby team captain, where I learned to motivate others and work collaboratively to achieve goals. My experience as a Resident Assistant and as a volunteer with organisations like Girl Up, Oasis and Atlantic Pacific has refined my advocacy, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, which are crucial for engaging with clients and stakeholders. I am eager to bring my skills, determination, and passion for the legal profession to a firm where I can contribute effectively while continuing to develop as a solicitor.
