About Jacob Hanbury
I have always been a huge fan of puzzles. I love looking at the chaos with wide eyes and making a road map in my mind on how to turn a mess into a masterpiece. Late 2017 I graduated from UTSA with my Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Communications, and Sociology; completing a major piece of my personal puzzle. With a goal in mind to be eventually get into program and change management to make people\'s lives better and easier at work. I chose Business to understand the fundamentals of business, Communications to be able to establish bonds both internally and externally, and Sociology to understand the people of the business. While attending school I worked in the apartment industry, growing from leasing agent to manager and applying the knowledge I was learning in school. After graduating I decided to move to the corporate world and ventured into commercial real estate and project management. Now I lead a real estate transaction team of internal partners and external consultants while also doing what I am passionate about - making people\'s lives better and easier through process improvements. Outside of work I love spending time with my partner, and our dog Kaia and cat Kerby, my friends, adventuring out in nature, cooking, reading, among other things. Cars, animals, and food are some of my all time passions. You can probably catch me checking out local grub and food eateries I have never been to or sipping on a mimosa with some friends.
