ABOUT JACOB HAMDANI

I am currently pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in aerospace engineering at Carleton University, where I explore my passion for aerospace and aeronautics. I have gained a solid foundation in engineering principles, design, and analysis, as well as a basic understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, and systems. Currently, I am an engineering intern in new product development at Bombardier Aerospace. I work in Aircraft Structures, where I support the structural design, integration, and system installation of the aircraft wing for a Research and Technology project. My work involves developing NX models for multi-disciplinary analysis, conducting studies on structural and system components, and collaborating with suppliers to optimize design and manufacturing feasibility. Through this role, I have strengthened my CAD proficiency, problem-solving skills, and understanding of structural constraints in aerospace design. Previously, I worked as an intern in the Project Engineering team at Bombardier, where I developed a strong foundation in managing complex engineering initiatives by supporting project and program management of a Research and Technology project. This involved supporting the development of program schedules, managing supplier onboarding and relations, and managing the program budget. My combined academic and professional experiences have shaped my passion for aerospace engineering and aircraft design, and I am excited to continue growing in this field.
