My goal in manufacturing and engineering is to bring \"the machinist, the engineer, the doctor, and the patient\" all together in the design and creation of new parts and products. Now I say doctor and patient. But I mean that for a product to be the best it can be, the user, the fixer, the designer and the manufacturer all need to be an integral part of the design process.
