About Jacob Glaser

I came to the mental health field through a long period of exploration. I moved about the helping profession realm trying to find where I fit in. When I started, I started wantied to be in the international teaching sector, but before long I discovered my passion for 1:1 support and the value of mental health. I started my therapy career in 2018 after receiving my master in clinical mental health counseling. I specialized in adolescent care and worked heavily using animal assisted and outdoor therapy techniques. I have always approached therapy from a Narrative and Reality based lens. In 2019, I joined Ginger in an effort to to find a way to better tap into my passion for advocacy, awareness, and availability for mental health needs. In 2021, Ginger merged to become Headspace Health. There I work as a coach manager and I help lead our adolescent work. I still practice therapy in private practice as a second job and greatly enjoy having to ability to approach mental health from both of these angles.
