These processes include titanium sponge production as well as the melting of premium quality material and the conversion of that material from ingot to billet. From a quality perspective, my role includes having supplier ownership, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring and analyzing current processes and future changes, and traveling on site to ensure suppliers meet GE’s standards for producing material.
