ABOUT JACOB DOUGHERTY
As an aspiring business professional and soon to be communications specialist, I have been able to hone my communication skills in diverse environments, from large construction sites to people’s homes, even as a shift lead at a pizza place. My journey has helped shape my interest in understanding how business and communication work together, driving me to pursue a BA in business communication. Through my career I have developed key skills such as leadership working as an assistant manager in a produce department at a grocery store or being the lead for an insulation blowing company. These roles have taught me work ethic, how to think on my feet, and how to stay calm in times of stress. While working at Bo Enterprises I learned skills in customer relations, managing time, understanding customer needs, and delivering exceptional service. Working as a commercial roofer I learned that I work well in teams towards common goals, I embrace creativity to overcome challenges, and thrive in problem solving.What am I seeking?
