About Jacob Cox
I am a sophomore Supply Chain Management student from Murfreesboro, TN, attending Auburn University. I started working when I was 14 years old to buy my first car. My dad owned a restaurant that I worked in during the summers to stock up some cash. When my 16th birthday rolled around, I had just enough to pay for the truck that I had wanted. That process of hard work in order to get something that you really want taught me a lot. This was the first time I had ever made a big purchase with money I had earned for myself, and it made me realize the value in it all. Since then, I have worked at golf courses, an elementary school, and umpired baseball. I have continued to learn how much working hard and getting things done the right way means, and I plan to continue that meaning in my future career.
