As a Co-Founder and Director of Medical Education at Virtual Hallway, I am excited about making medicine fun and accessible for both patients and providers. Virtual Hallway is a Canadian online healthcare platform that connects family doctors and nurse practitioners with specialists in real time, reducing waitlists and improving patient care. I also serve as the Chief Privacy and Information Officer, ensuring the security and compliance of our data and systems.I have 10 years of experience as a staff psychiatrist. I have previously worked with Nova Scotia Health Authority as a Community Psychiatrist as well as with Dalhousie University where I held a position as Assistant Professor. I currently complete consultations for the RCMP, Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Canada. I have also contributed to several community-based initiatives that promote and improve the health of African Canadians in Nova Scotia, such as the Nova Scotia Brotherhood Initiative and the Health Association of African Canadians.
