I am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Grand View University while continuing to grow as a dedicated mascot performer. With seven years of mascot experience, I have represented Grand View University, the Iowa Barnstormers, and the Iowa Cubs, and have also served as a mascot handler for the Iowa Wild, Des Moines Buccaneers, and Iowa Wolves. These opportunities have allowed me to develop strong skills in engagement, adaptability, and creating meaningful connections with diverse audiences. As a future elementary educator, I am committed to creating an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, respected, and valued. I strive to engage learners through creativity, energy, and intentional relationship-building—qualities that also define my work in mascot performance. Whether in the classroom or in performance, my goal is to positively impact others by fostering connection, enthusiasm, and a sense of belonging.
