   Assess Active Duty Soldiers to determine fitness for duty, psychological functioning, decisional capacity, aeromedical capability, and suitability for roles of significant trust-Provide evidence-based therapy to Active Duty Soldiers to treat trauma- and stressor-related disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief, and other clinical concerns-Consult and collaborate with medical providers, occupational and physical therapists, dieticians, commanders, and administrative leadership to enhance individual Soldiers’ functioning as well as the overall resilience of the unit-Lead monthly Wellness Council comprised of chaplain, occupational therapy, dietician, and behavioral health team to develop targeted programming and track Soldiers with high risk factors-Lead trauma event management team for military personnel following multiple potentially traumatic events-Supervise postdoctoral clinical psychology residents in diagnostic, aeromedical, and administrative evaluations, evidence-based therapy, and command consultation as a part of an APA-accredited clinical psychology postdoctoral program to steward the profession and enhance behavioral health team’s capabilities-Lead group supervision for two cohorts of predoctoral interns in an APA-accredited clinical psychology internship program using the experiential group supervision model-Develop educational programs as well as public health prevention policies to increase access to care, reduce demands on behavioral health providers, and decrease suicidal behavior frequency-Train and evaluate medical residents, interns, and students in de-escalation techniques, principles, and skills through didactics as well as simulated trainings to improve medical outcomes, reduce chemical and mechanical restraint use, and build patient trust-Utilize MHS Genesis electronic health record (EHR) to document and coordinate patient care
