About Jacob Abercrombie

Ever since I can recall, I have had a passion for personal growth and knowledge sharing. Growing up in a family dedicated to the service and entertainment industry, and later working at an entertainment-focused school, has allowed me to live out a dream and acquire skills beyond my wildest imagination. Over the past two decades, I have been fortunate enough to develop a wide range of skills that have enabled me to become a better person and mentor to numerous individuals. I was fortunate to have been hired by Full Sail at the age of 23, and I have since enjoyed a successful career in entertainment thanks to the company’s support and encouragement. What sets Full Sail apart is its commitment to promoting the growth of its employees, allowing me to progress through a series of increasingly challenging roles, each of which was entirely new at the time of my appointment. I started my journey at Full Sail as a film lab teacher, responsible for guiding students through the complexities of the filmmaking process. As I grew in confidence and experience, I was promoted to the Public Relations team, where I was tasked with building a department dedicated to promoting Full Sail and its programs around the world. Over time, my responsibilities grew to include the development of budgets, travel plans, contracts, staff training, and the creation of a show truck that traveled across the country to showcase Full Sail’s educational programs. After my success in the Public Relations team, I was moved into the event production side of the company, where I was responsible for mentoring students and managing Full Sail’s many events. The events we produced were diverse and challenging, ranging from in-person shows to broadcast events, and our team typically produced 12-15 unique events every month for Full Sail and its clients. It was during this time that I developed the skills and experience needed to become a trusted producer in both the in-person and broadcast live events. Looking back over my career, I attribute my success to my effective communication skills, my natural organizational ability, and my deep understanding of the technical aspects of the industry. Without these skills, I would not have been able to thrive at in this industry for so long.

   I’m happy to announce that I will be the Show Producer/ Creative Director for The All Star World Championship 2025 event in Orlando! Over 1600 cheer teams spread across 5 arenas competing over a 4 day period.
