ABOUT JACLYN FORTIER
I have learned from experience the benefit of saying YES to a challenge. My initiation to bravery was joining the military when I was 17. The academic underdog of my high school and only female in my graduating class, I decided my first airplane ride would be to basic training.(I was terrified) Landing on my feet and learning along the way that we can do anything that we set our mind to. I learned to say YES to life challenges and I believe that bravery comes first, confidence comes second. I provide community engagement advocacy for domestic violence and sexual assault prevention.
