As the Director of Development for Best Buddies in Florida, the world’s largest organization dedicated to the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), I build community relationships that cultivate opportunities for friendship, leadership development, and jobs for people with and without IDD. I work to sustain and diversify the organizations funding and volunteer pipeline to empower youth and adult volunteers to build mutually enriching friendships, enhance leadership skills through diversity, inclusion, and leadership trainings to advocate for themselves and their peers in communities, workplaces, and government, develop of the workforce of the future, and create inclusive living opportunities.
