About Jaclyn Choo

I am a Sophomore at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a 3.5 GPA pursuing a B.S in Business Marketing. I am originally from Vancouver, Canada where I attended high school before transferring to Florida where I graduated from IMG Academy and played basketball. I am interested in Summer 2026 internships in the sports industry. As a Marketing Scholars Candidate at Fordham, I am one of 50 students in a program aimed at providing high-profile opportunities to advance marketing careers. As well as I am a member of Fordham Marketing Association Club and play on Fordham’s intramural women’s basketball team. My past experiences have allowed me to apply my classroom business skills into the real world. I recently started an email marketing role at Sircle Media where I research on industry trends and news to inspire client content and source user generated and third party content for client social media strategies. Last sumner I taught a financial literacy class to a group of 20+ 9-12 year olds. I also have experience working as a Sales Associate at JD Sports where I assisted clients with apparel and footwear selections, leveraged a POS system to process payments and maintained merchandising displays.Within Fordham’s academics, two hallmark programs have allowed me to work in team settings for extended periods where I generated deep analysis and research to support a large final presentation. As part of Gabelli’s Consulting Cup, I worked with a team of my peers to develop a comprehensive solution to help expand McCormick’s brand reach by expanding into tangential categories. During my freshmen year, my team participated in the Ground Floor challenge and created a comprehensive business plan for Ez Read, a literacy app for pre-k - 5th grade students which we pitched to a panel of experts.You may contact me at j••••@fordham.edu I look forward to hearing from you!
