My passions and experiences include community outreach and engagement, creating opportunities for authentic community, program and project coordination and management, high-level volunteer recruitment, strategically increasing access to resources for historically excluded communities, marketing/communication through diverse platforms (including graphic design), community-centered facilitation, grant compliance, budget tracking, public speaking, administrative work, financial empowerment/navigation support, and the arts.    Create and execute a digital communications plan and communications calendar in collaboration with directors and staff.• Coordinate, design, edit, and publish internal and external communications including, but not limited to, engagement emails, e-newsletters, flyers, and other publications, including some printed collateral. • Manage, develop, and publish content for our website and other digital and social media platforms. • Manage all social media platforms and implement strategies to increase engagement, including expanding into other platforms. • Manage text tools and text advocacy efforts, building and implementing an effective program.• Facilitate and increase member engagement through various electronic and social media communications. • Help grow PROTEC17’s membership through effective communication strategies.• Manage digital marketing and promotion efforts for PROTEC17 meetings, events, etc.• Measure and evaluate results, data, and trends of digital and social media content and campaigns, and continuously evolve to meet communications needs of members and the changing digital world.• Assist the Communications Director and Executive Director with other projects, as assigned.• Work with Union Representatives, Union Organizers, Program Directors, and others to support the mission-driven communication efforts of PROTEC17.
