About Jack Stewart
I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee and I am in the Haslam College of Business, studying management. My focus is leadership and organizational effectiveness, with a collateral in sales. I have always been a “people person” and problem solving is one of my strengths. Another one of my strengths is proficient communication, being able to spread and articulate certain information to both coworkers and customers. At my part time job as a dock master at Volunteer Landing Marina, we are responsible for managing the store during our shift, and making decisions whenever a problem arises or performing a task. I am confident that my past jobs have helped me understand how to handle certain situations, as well as being able to see how the company is being ran. I feel that these past experiences have helped me become more skilled in communication, organization, and problem-solving dealing with day to day tasks, and sometimes new situations.
