ABOUT JACK HAYS
I am an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a deeply rooted desire to work in the maritime industry, more specifically as a Deck Officer. For a long time I have been dedicated to building relationships with my peers and understanding people from different backgrounds. My open character and interpersonal skills have truly allowed me to hone my leadership skills, which I believe would be beneficial to managing, operating and most importantly fitting into a team whilst at sea. My education at Stamford School provided me with an interesting foundation into the worlds of Politics, English Literature, and German. During this time I undertook an Independent Research Project (IRP), in which I ended up doing about the German shipping industry, and its significance on the economy.
