About Jack Valentino
After defending my honors thesis on the effects of competing platform regulation regimes in the U.S. and Germany, I spent my final undergraduate semester studying European privacy law and online media attitudes in The Netherlands. Since returning from Amsterdam, I’ve worked at Success Academy as a co-curricular debate teacher and after-school coach for two competitive teams in East and West Harlem. In these roles, I’m passionate about helping students critically engage with ongoing policy debates, advocate for their perspectives, and—most importantly—challenge harmful narratives. While it’s bittersweet to leave the classroom and my debaters this June, I’m excited to return to the student side of the desk. This fall, I’ll be attending NYU Law as an incoming 1L to deepen my engagement with speech regulation, digital governance, and public policy.
