As head of the firm\'s Real Estate Practice Group, my practice includes representing owners, operators, tenants, and developers of commercial real property, including multifamily housing projects, industrial facilities, condominiums, strip malls, and office buildings.I also have extensive experience advising financial institutions and borrowers with the negotiation and structuring of credit facilities, including accounts receivable financing, acquisition financing, asset-based financing, construction lending, commercial real estate financing, mezzanine financing, subordinate debt financing, equipment leasing, letters of credit, loan syndications, mortgage banking, sales-leaseback transactions, secured commercial financing, synthetic lease transactions, and unsecured commercial financing. My compliance practice focuses on establishing export compliance regimes for Kotz Sangster’s defense and aerospace clients, as well as managing their on-going operational compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), anti-boycott regulations, Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms regulations, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
