ABOUT JACK THOMPSON
I\'ve been in business development since 2008, with a few years of B2B sales experience before that. Most of the agencies I\'ve worked for have had digital at their core, ranging from innovative use of software in marketing consumer products, to large corporate websites, to building mobile and web app MVPs for startups. My roles have included lead generation, agency marketing, managing teams, and running pitches.Between June 2019 and July 2023 I worked as a consultant, still mainly in that agency market, helping my clients create and implement their business development strategies. I now work at GAIN, an agency group of over 900 people across five agencies; Experience, Conversion, Creative Studios, Customer Science and Performance. I focus on our Experience Agency; digital strategy, products, user research, CX and UX.Outside of work I do a lot of mentoring in the startup tech scene, helping founders with their go-to-market strategies, and I Chair the board of trustees of my local community centre.Father of one, part time DJ, keen gardener, and rugby player.
