Software Engineering field since 2001 and have worn many hats: Func. Xbox Tester, Test Engineer, Test Lead, QA/IT Analyst, Web Developer, SDET and currently Data Analyst.My biggest strength is my ability to find critical code defects early in the process, saving time and money, and increasing positive end-user experience and app stability. The cost of finding (and fixing) these \"show stopper\" bugs *after* they are released increases exponentially. Over the years, I have found many critical (and high-medium risk) security and functional issues that would have cost money if users found (or exploited) them first. Risk analysis at every step is key. When confronted with obscurity or ambiguity in systems, my innate drive to discover how software components work together has served me well in each of my past roles. It has allowed for rapid ramp up and utilization of unfamiliar technologies and software products. As needed I temper this curiosity to set accurate expectations, timelines, and to react to change quickly when there are new reqs, tools, processes, strategies, or projects.I just love to learn new things and test new or proven processes, such as Lean/Startup/Agile process, widely-accepted coding standards, solid design patterns and development tools to increase individual efficiency, team collaboration and work-life balance.
