About Jackson Bjork

A Master\'s in Accounting graduate from Appalachian State University graduating in May of 2025. I completed my undergraduate degree in Accounting at Appalachian State University. My recent work experience includes completing an Audit Internship at Grant Thornton LLP during the summer of 2024. I also completed a Cost Accounting Internship at Lowes Companies during the summer of 2023. I have worked for First Citizens Bank doing a Seasonal Sales and Service Representative position. I also have experience working as VP of Administration and Finance for the Interfraternity Council at my university reporting financials and creating budgets to follow throughout the semester. I was promoted in April 2022 to President of the Interfraternity Council at Appalachian State University and will be doing this role on top of my previous role, VP of Administration and Finance. I continued in the President of Interfraternity Council until November of 2023. I have served on the financial committee for my fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order, working with our treasurer to report financials to nationals, collect dues, and create a budget for each semester. I am also a Microsoft Excel Expert earning my certification during the Fall 2023 semester through the MOS exam.
