About Jackson Welch
As a Senior Data Engineer and DHS Line of Business at Erias Ventures, I leverage my analytical skills and SQL and Apache Spark knowledge to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and solutions for various federal clients. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of engineers, analysts, and project managers, and contributing to the company\'s mission of delivering innovative and secure solutions for the public sector.In addition to my data engineering role, I am also an Adjunct Professor of Information Technology at University of Cincinnati, where I teach Python and Java programming to undergraduate students. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience in cyber security and app development, and inspiring the next generation of IT professionals. I am proud of winning the first place in the IEQ Pitch Competition in 2020, where I presented my app PhraseCatch, which has over 500k active installs across 7 applications.
