ABOUT JACKSON WEARNE

I graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2024 and am currently a Sales Operations Intern at Kahua. Coming from a large family of nine, I bring a lot of energy to any work environment.In my senior year at the University of Georgia, in addition to working at restaurant in Athens, I served as a youth soccer coach at Athens United. This role was extremely fulfilling, and I enjoyed every minute at the club. Giving back to the community while pursuing something that I love made this job an incredible experience and something I will definitely continue wherever my career takes me.During the summers of 2022 and 2023, I interned at MunichRe, where I gained extensive knowledge about the reinsurance industry and the dynamics of a professional setting. I enhanced my skills in Excel and PowerPoint and acquired new competencies in SharePoint, Power BI, and other operating systems used there.My work experience began at Chick-fil-A, where I worked for over three and a half years starting in my sophomore year of high school. Currently, I work part-time as a cook at a sports bar in Athens. Both experiences have significantly improved my customer service skills and my ability to work effectively within a team.In my spare time, I love working with data in either Power BI, Python, R, or SQL. I have a passion for sports, and enjoy making visuals and writing articles with my findings.
