This spring I’m working with Narragansett’s VP of Sales to gain hands-on experience across sales, marketing, and events in the home market. I shadow retail account visits, support brand initiatives through ambassador-style responsibilities, and assist at community and festival events. The experience has given me a better understanding of how strong relationships, brand presence, and sales strategy all connect in the beverage industry.

ABOUT JACKSON SWEENEY
I’m a senior Communication major at URI with a minor in Public Relations, and I’m drawn to roles that mix people, strategy, and hands-on experience. Working multiple seasons in hospitality on Martha’s Vineyard taught me how to stay organized under pressure, communicate clearly, and bring a strong work ethic to fast-paced environments. My coursework and on-campus projects in branding, media strategy, and experiential marketing have pushed me to think creatively and apply what I learn in real situations.I’m a motivated person who’s always looking for chances to learn, pick up new skills, and connect with people who help me grow, while also building relationships that help everyone around me succeed. I’m driven, adaptable, and excited to continue building experience in PR, marketing, sales, and the hospitality/beverage industry.
