About Jackson Yee

B.S. Finance student at MSOE with numerous internship experience, who devotes 20 hours per week playing NCAA hockey, as well as 10-15 hours per week with continuing internship along with a full academic schedule. Developing leadership skills as Co-Founder and Vice President of first ever MSOE Finance and Investment Club. Participated in several leadership and community service opportunities while playing junior hockey across the Midwest. From there I came on an official visit and was thoroughly impressed. My future teammates mentioned how challenging the academics were here on top of managing an NCAA sport. I become more interested as I learned MSOE differentiates itself through its required field experience from professors and small class sizes. Since then, I have been able to apply business principles and practices through various internships. I was in charge of the Sales and Marketing for a sub-company of Cornerstone Composites called Recycle Clear. I enhanced the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and analyzed campaign metrics to drive sales growth. I also worked for Little Green Apple Retail Inc, a franchisee of Hallmark. I led the strategy and implementation of security systems across 91 Midwest Stores. I interned for Regal Rexnord Corporation during the summers of 2024 and 2025. As a Commercial Finance intern in 2024 I analyzed historical sales and orders data to identify key trends and improve forecasting accuracy. As a member of the Internal Audit team in the summer of 2025 I test the controls and processes of manufacturing plants to ensure compliance with company policy and SOX requirements. I also supported Regal Rexnord\'s legal team through organizing and analyzing evidence for an internal investigation. Hockey has taught me team-building skills including time management, attention to detail, preparation, interacting with a diverse group of people, hard work, and the desire to learn. I have lived in several areas within the Midwest region and have interacted and been teammates with people from all over the world. I am very proud of receiving the Heart and Hard Work Award from the Aberdeen Wings Hockey Organization while serving as the Assistant Captain during the 20••••22 season, as well as the Bill Smith Award (dedicated for work ethic, character) by the Victory Honda Hockey Organization in 2020.
