Driving the implementation of regulatory frameworks and providing internal advisory and consultancy around policy implementation and adoption, I successfully:• Uncover and implement best practices to elevate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) processes and procedures. • Provide support and advisory to AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) SMEs on effective policy implementation. • Advise on financial crime risk management, helping increase the organisation’s overall risk posture. • Examine and analyse complex client issues, providing recommendations on courses of action. • Align new regulations and the provision of KYC policy dispensations to business products and services. • Lead internal and external regulatory change forums and projects whilst engaging with industry, government and regulatory bodies and their representatives on regulatory requirements. Provide oversight of procedures to ensure policy intent and language are correctly interpreted across the enterprise. • Manage the bank’s global policy governance protocol, assisting with external 3rd party audits. • Collaborate and provide input to Wolfsberg, UK Finance, and European Banking Federation working groups’ task force projects.
