   My shift starts with loading the work trailer with all the essential equipment needed for the clam bake event for the day. This step in the process definitely improved my organizational skills as it was crucial to have every item the customers ordered and required for their event be on the truck. On-site at the events my role was handling set-up of tables, buffet and cooking stations. These tasks involve teamwork and communication skills which I believe I excel at in working with my co-workers. I am always proactive and available in lending a hand to my colleagues. During the events I worked alongside my co-workers in providing the best experience for our customers with our food presentation and service. As a member of the rental crew our days started at 7 am and entailed much grit and hard work. We were responsible for the heavy lifting of the required equipment (wooden legs, steel legs, chairs, tables, etc.). It was challenging at times, but we always worked as a team to get the job done. I consistently strived to work as hard as possible to make my peer’s job easier.
