ABOUT JACKSON DRUCKENBROAD

I am a 2019 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor\'s of Arts degree in Pre-medicine, who is actively searching for a position in healthcare or a medical sales position. My previous experiences include being a part of the Summer Science Research Symposium where I conducted research under the supervision of Dr. Allen J Pistner. The research conducted was on the synthesis of redox-active ligand scaffolds, that have potential to be used in a specific cancer treatment called photodynamic therapy. Daily activities included following a specific pathway to synthesize the ligand, while also collecting different instrumental spectrum data to understand the possibility of its application to photodynamic therapy. I have also been a participant in Ohio Wesleyan\'s Practicum in Medicine, where I served as an observer and nurses aide in the emergency room department of Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio. I was a member of the Ohio Wesleyan University\'s men\'s lacrosse team where I served as an active player from 20••••18. In 2019 I was allowed to be a student assistant where I aided coaches in running day to day operations of practice, as well as the development of younger defensive players on the team. Involvement in lacrosse at the collegiate level allowed me to be a coach for the Haymakers Lacrosse club, where I helped in character development of high school aged athletes through the sport.
