About Jack Corbett
I use my strong technical background and personal experience with type 1 diabetes to design and enhance automated insulin delivery systems. My goal is to improve the lives of people with diabetes by empowering them to manage their blood glucose levels more effectively, while making the process less burdensome. I have experience in control systems, disturbance event detection, human factors, and machine learning. I completed my doctoral research at the University of Virginia\'s Center for Diabetes Technology, and now work in Research and Development at Tandem Diabetes Care as an Algorithm Engineering Senior Manager.
