As the Communications & Development Associate at Young Voices RI, I support an incredible organization dedicated to transforming youth into powerful advocates with a voice in every aspect of their lives. Since 2006, Young Voices has guided more than students of color to understand critical issues, think strategically, and influence real change in their schools, their state, and beyond. Through our year-long leadership programs and civic engagement curriculum, youth gain essential 21st-century skills in public speaking, policy analysis, networking, critical thinking, and effective communication. I’m SO proud and excited to help amplify their work and impact across Rhode Island.
