I lead the Cinema and Media Arts program at Anderson University, advising all program majors and teaching courses in storytelling, screenwriting, film production, and public speaking. My goal is to help students develop their creative skills and prepare for careers in film and media.Beyond the classroom, I’ve created several events to enrich the student experience, including:Quoth the Raven – A live event where students and faculty share true, personal stories.AU-StoMo (Storytelling Month) – A month-long writing challenge designed to encourage creativity and discipline.The Black Bird Film Festival – An annual showcase celebrating student and independent films.Sitcom Saturday - A premiere event featuring the film and television and theatre students producing an original sitcom in front of a live studio audience.Through these initiatives, I aim to cultivate a community of storytellers who are passionate about their craft and equipped for success in the industry.
