ABOUT JACK LOWERSON

As an undergraduate at the University of Exeter, pursuing a BSc in Business and Environment with a proficiency in Law, I am passionate about climate and sustainability. My degree has provided me with a strong foundation in business analytics, data science, biodiversity, conservation, and the legal frameworks essential for sustainable business practices. My professional experiences have further built my skills and aligned with my dedication to sustainability. At RJ Working, I led a project securing a £60K contract with Cornwall Council, which significantly enhanced the organisation’s capacity for additional employment and external training. My role also encompassed business policy development, financial management, and team training, equipping me with versatile skills in business development and finance. During my time at GE Aerospace, I managed supplier order books and led projects that improved supply chain efficiency and accuracy. My ability to analyse data, forecast supplier demand, and influence decision-making through detailed reporting has been instrumental in mitigating supply issues and optimising operations. My commitment to sustainability is reflected in my certifications and extracurricular activities. As an upReach Associate, I have participated in advanced professional development programs, and through the UNDP SDG Finance Academy, I have gained comprehensive knowledge in sustainable finance and SDG-aligned investment strategies. Furthermore, my undertaking of the Exeter Green Consultant scheme involved rigorous training in sustainability project management, legislative standards, and technical auditing.
