ABOUT JACK ELLIOTT
I\'m currently an SRE @ S&P Global Over the past five years I have worked in Site Reliability Engineering, honing my ability to support engineering departments with measuring the success and reliability of their services. I love working collaboratively, and I believe this is an essential operating mode for successful SRE teams. We develop custom tooling, embed observability within our applications, and automate every feasible manual process, ensuring that our development environment is conducive to our goals as a business.Whilst I\'ve worked in multiple business contexts, I\'ve been lucky to support broadcast infrastructure, demanding and achieving ambitious service level objectives. My technical skill set is varied, with adaptability being a vital quality for engineers to thrive in the ever changing technical landscape.I have also completed the Teach First Leadership Development Program, teaching Computer Science to students in key stages 3 and 4. This experience deepened my passion for technology and honed leadership skills that I now apply daily in my engineering work.
