About Jack Gelman

Jack Gelman is a Managing Director at Gelman & Associates, LLC and CEO of Sage Silver Solutions Group LLC (SAGE). For more than 10 years, as an experienced Executive Coach, Mr. Gelman served as Group Chairman and Facilitator for three Vistage CEO Groups. Earlier, Jack served as a Global Managing Partner with Andersen Consulting, President or CEO of several businesses, turnaround specialist and marketing executive. At Gelman and Associates, Jack\'s business regeneration and executive transformation practice provides customized assistance to owners of privately held companies. He coaches several CEOs on a 1:1 basis and provides advisory services to senior executives on business & marketing strategy. In addition, Jack started up and facilitates a peer group for former senior executives who. having wound up their professional careers, are seeking purpose in the third age of their lives.From time to time Jack accepts line management assignments from his clients; including President and CEO of the renewable energy company Alternity Wind Power, LLC. He began his business career at Procter & Gamble and General Mills, enabling him to gain a keen understanding of marketing, sales, new product development and new business commercialization. Later he turned around and profitably grew operating units at Cross Pen, Nashua, Beiersdorf and Rustoleum. Jack earned his BA in Economics from Princeton and served in the U.S. Navy as both a Naval Aviator and Assistant Professor of Naval Science. Following military service, he earned an MBA with Honors at Harvard Business School. Jack has served on Boards for FedCap, Conti Corp, Alternity Wind Power, The Mankind Project, Ability Beyond, Lee Hecht Harrison and The Cincinnati Ballet. His firm has offices in Westport, CT and Williamsburg, VA.

Since its formation in 1995, the Executive Forum has grown to over 400 members who are the top-most leaders at market moving companies, run portfolios for the most innovative PE firms and serve as directors on boards — public, private and non-profit. Admission to the Executive Forum is based upon a rigorous nomination and review process. By design, approximately half the EF members are President/CEOs, and the others are at the COO, CFO, CMO, CIO and VP levels.
