Selected as part of the inaugural cohort of Figma Campus Leaders, tasked with building a strong design community at the University of Washington- Organized a week-long, multi-campus design hackathon with 200+ students at UW alone, hosting hands-on events to help students learn Figma and grow real-world design skills often missing from classes- Managed a yearly budget—coordinating food, supplies, raffle prizes, and everything in between to make sure events were smooth, fun, and meaningful- Reached out to designers in the industry to speak, mentor, and connect with students—helping bridge the gap between school and the professional design world- Worked closely with the Figma for Education team to boost awareness on campus, share student feedback, and create helpful resources and templates for learning design.
