ABOUT JACKIE X.

Life is like a box of chocolates; You never know what you\'re going to get.\"Currently a Ph.D. candidate specializing in high-performance computing and scientific computing at Duke. I developed large-scale modern C++ simulation program and conducted finite element analysis to investigate the novel Weighted Shifted Boundary Method (WSBM) in fluid-structure interaction, reducing 90% non-physical pressure oscillations. Additionally, I implemented Benchmark Regression Tests in Python and integrated the Sacado, Epetra, and Amesos libraries from the Trilinos suite into my large-scale C++ program development. I used MATLAB and Paraview for post-processing and visualization of simulation results.In the industry, I was a full-time employee at Huawei Technologies Co, Ltd, mainly engaged in finite element simulation analysis. I developed an automated tool for mesh generation and simulation model creation in Hypermesh using TCL scripting, significantly improving efficiency and reducing the workload in mesh preprocessing and subsequent analysis. This innovation saved the company considerable manpower costs and created substantial value. I provided CAD/CAE reliability design support for the Mate, P series flagship smartphone models and \"Honor\" smartphones, which achieved sales of 54.27 million units in 2018. I conducted HyperMesh and ABAQUS simulation analysis for various parts including the fingerprint module, camera module, and PCBA board, and implemented Python scripts for data extraction and iSight-based Design of Experiments (DOE).I am passionate about programming, viewing it as an art form that allows me to create from a blank canvas, bringing me great satisfaction. I particularly appreciate the powerful features of C++, such as parametric polymorphism, subtype polymorphism, and exception handling. I believe in the importance of learning from failure and am willing to embrace challenges in the quantitative finance and software development industry. I maintain a happy and productive life by working out, alpine skiing and engaging in hobbies that bring me joy, including programming.
