About Jackie Bossman
As Legislative Director and Counsel, I lead our House Ag Committee legislative efforts, as well as the healthcare, judiciary, appropriations, and transportation and infrastructure portfolios. I bring a cross-committee understanding of the House legislative process, with prior experience serving as Counsel on the Committee on House Administration, where I worked on election law and led the legal team’s efforts on artificial intelligence (AI) and copyright policy.Before transitioning to the House, I spent three years in the U.S. Senate with Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD), advising on banking, healthcare, labor, cyber/tech, judiciary, and foreign affairs policy.I hold a dual J.D. and M.S. in Government Organization and Leadership, earned cum laude, along with a certification in International Law. I am a member of the Nebraska Bar.
