I am a senior professional with considerable experience at both strategic and operational level. I have worked with key decision makers in central government, NDPB’s, private and not for profit sectors.I am recognised as one of the UK\'s most influential disabled people in public service by the disabled people\'s movement and also feature in the 2017 Power 100 list. I am one of Manchester’s Strong Women 2019. I was awarded an OBE in 2021 for my services to equality and diversity. I have proven experience of creating successful diverse boards across sectors. I use my practical experience and knowledge of legislation and regulations to improve performance and deliver outcomes for public services. I have excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of cross cultural sensitivity, am able to communicate visions effectively at all levels and translate strategy into operational delivery.
