20 years experience in the Apprenticeship Sector, with a great mix of both Private Training Providers and FE colleges. This experience enables me to combine quality with commerciality. As Strategic lead at CONEL, I created an Apprenticeship team and central structure over the past three years and led them to success in terms of recruitment and achievements. I have been responsible for trebling direct recruitment over the 3 years, resulting in c900 new apprentices last year, whilst maintaining quality and success rates above the national average. I believe the changes in funding represent opportunities, which we have optimised. As Chair of the National Commercial Board with the Collab Group, I have engaged National Employers and won over £5m in Levy bids for the College.
