ABOUT JACK GEIST
I am a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student in Marketing Management at the University of Guelph\'s LANG School of Business and Economics. Through coursework in areas like consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, leadership, and business communication, I\'ve built a strong foundation in how organizations operate and how people make decisions within them.Alongside my studies, I\'ve gained practical experience in professional and team-based environments. In Summer 2024, I worked as a Summer Student in Insurance Operations at Foresters Financial, where I supported day-to-day operations by processing policy surrender requests, working with CRM systems, and collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency. I\'ve also spent multiple summers working as a counsellor at Camp Green Acres, including within the Leadership Training Program (LTP), where I led and supervised Counsellors in Training. This experience strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while working closely with peers and supervisors in a fast-paced, people-oriented setting. I\'m completing my undergraduate degree in April 2026 and am currently seeking a summer internship where I can apply my academic background and work experience in a practical business or marketing role before entering postgraduate studies in Fall 2026.
