Dr. Jack Gatti Hilton, DSW, LCSW, CGP, CCTP-II:Creator of the P.A.T.H. Model™ (Presence, Alignment, Truth, Healing™)—a soul-attuned, neuroscience-informed framework that trains therapists, social workers, and faith leaders to ethically integrate spirituality into mental health care without reinforcing shame, bypassing emotion, or overstepping professional boundaries.The P.A.T.H. Model™ emerged from my doctoral research and frontline clinical work in response to a critical gap: people—especially within Christian communities—seek help from pastors or trusted leaders long before reaching a therapist, yet those early responses often intensify stigma or spiritualize psychological distress. P.A.T.H. equips professionals to meet people at first contact with clarity, safety, and skill, preserving engagement and allowing care to expand appropriately.I\'m a licensed clinical social worker, ordained minister, and founder of Greater Love Counseling, LLC in Bangor, Maine. My clinical practice integrates spiritually grounded, neuroscience-informed care to support individuals experiencing complex trauma, emotional overwhelm, and persistent mental illness. I\'m certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) and trained in EMDR, Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy, and the Structural Dissociation model.As an educator and consultant, I train mental health professionals and clergy in P.A.T.H. methodology, provide consultation to churches navigating mental health crises, and offer psychoeducation that reduces fear and stigma. I teach graduate social work at Indiana Wesleyan University and Husson University. My research on the P.A.T.H. Model is currently under peer review at Clinical Social Work Journal.Previously, I served as lead clinician on an inpatient psychiatric unit at Northern Light Acadia Hospital and worked as a television reporter.
