We are a black-led organization, representing Black businesses in Canada.We are providing a unified platform for advocating and supporting Black entrepreneurs and businesses in Canada. In addition to advocacy, we help facilitate access to financing (Federal, Provincial, and Local), access to social procurement and certification, as well as provide advisory and mentorship services to our members.Our goal is to help Black businesses grow, scale up and become sustainable.Our Mandate | Our Promise1. Advocacy on behalf of the BEBC society to the federal, provincial, and local governments for the benefit of our members.2. Facilitate access to financing and/or capital. Finding resources available, and training on how to apply successfully for the financing to ensure that no member is left behind on any available funding for the business. Advisory and mentorship of our members, including the” how-to\" of business - starting, running, and succeeding as a business.4. Support Black businesses through certification - training, access, growth & support networks. Networking and cross-promoting of Black Entrepreneurs & Businesses (BEBs).5. Coordinate collective access to professional services needed for operational support e.g, Lawyers, Accountants, Marketing and Advertising, etc6. Data collection and research in support of Black entrepreneurs & businesses.
