ABOUT JACK WOLFSOHN

Highly motivated early-career national security and intelligence professional with two years of combined legislative affairs and communications experience, serving as a Legislative Correspondent and Press and Digital Assistant for U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN). As a Legislative Correspondent, I managed portfolios including energy, appropriations (Defense; Energy & Water; MilCon-VA; State/Foreign Ops), budget, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, education, labor, agriculture, interior, and federal grant requests. I also supported Senator Blackburn’s hearing preparation before the United States Senate Committee on Finance. Currently serving as a policy intern at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA), where I am expanding my open-source intelligence expertise and deepening my understanding of Middle East security dynamics. Beginning the MASCI program at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) this fall, I am committed to tackling pressing national security challenges and aspire to serve in a strategic intelligence or policy capacity within the intelligence community, the Department of Defense, or the State Department. Holding a B.A. in History from Brown University, I leverage strong analytical, research, and communication skills to inform strategic decision-making on global security threats.
