ABOUT JACK WILKIN
I am a palaeontologist and PhD student at the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter. My PhD focuses on using microfossil (foram and diatom) assemblages and geochemical proxies (mainly alkenones and stable isotopes) to reconstruct oceanographic conditions in the Southern Ocean durong the Quaternary. I have experience teaching palaeontology and evolutionary biology at university level. I have conducted palaeontological fieldwork in the UK, Germany, France, Poland and Morocco as well as ship time on the RRS Discovery.
