I have 3+ years of experience working in Corporate Development and M&A, currently serving as a Corporate Development & Strategic Planning Analyst with Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc, the parent company to Steinway & Sons, the piano manufacturer. In this role, I have combined technical skills of financial modeling and corporate reporting design with professional communication skills to lead the company through IPO preparation, monthly FP & A reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting, and other high level strategic projects director from CEO and CFO. My prior role provides experience in sell-side Mergers & Acquisition, working on behalf of middle market companies to close 19 deals valued at over $300mm in 18 months. These roles have provided me with extensive experience within manufacturing, business services, and retail industries, but willing and eager to work in any industry. I graduated in 2020 from Lehigh University\'s Integrated Business & Engineering (IBE) Program with a B.S. in Finance & Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Business Information Systems & Music.I bring to an organization an easygoing and reliable team members, always pushing to simplify and expedite processes, asking questions to ensure alignment across teams and departments, and taking pride in the accuracy and presentation of my work.    Reporting to Director of Corporate Development and CFO, responsible for all corporate level strategic projects, including but not limited to: IPO preparation, including S-1 prospectus writing and data tracking, Analyst Day Presentation building, IPO 3-Statement Financial Model building, and communicating with Equity Research Analysts; monthly, quarterly, and annual FP & A reporting for Global Leadership Team; annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting across 13 global entities; mergers and acquisitions; ad hoc strategic projects directly from CEO, CFO, and CTO; general process improvement within corporate finance department. Directly involved with all aspects of preparing company for IPO since joining company to present, adapting and adjusting to changing market conditions and company forecast. Utilized automation within company EPM system to decrease monthly FP & A reporting time by 6+ hours and improve accuracy of reporting. Gained vast experience working with ambiguity when tasked with investigatory projects to identify expense & headcount trends in detail, and rectify when needed with local divisional finance teams while summarizing data in a clear, concise manner to be presented to C-Suite executives and Board of Directors. Extreme attention to detail within expenses using cost accounting knowledge, operating 7 manufacturing facilities in 3 states and 3 countries that required monthly variance analysis and accurate production planning.
