ABOUT JACK WEBERG

I started my career as an engineer working for the General Electric Co, Medical Systems Division (now Healthcare Group). During my first years with GE I was dedicated to improving the performance of Heart Catheterization Laboratories which is used to image the heart and diagnose problems in the coronary arteries. Later I was a member of the development team that invented the CT (Computed Tomography) Scanner. I spent several years teaching people how to use scanners, and keep them running properly. I traveled all over the United States and later all over the world for the CT project. Before leaving the General Electric Company, I managed service operations for most of northern California and western Nevada. After leaving GE, I was co-owner or manager of several businesses providing sales and service for products used for medical imaging. Today, I devote my time to teaching. I am an instructor/instructor-trainer for over 20 National Safety Council products in emergency care, defensive driving, and occupational safety. I am also an instructor trainer for American Heart Association CPR / 1st Aid and Basic Life Support.
