Project Engineering and Project Management Professional with over 30 years of hands on experience in the US and South East Asian counties specifically Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand – power generation industry. Successfully managed several power project development and complex petro-chemical EPC projects for US and international clients. Executed complex projects involving multi-national clients and team of local and cross national engineering talent pool in Asia. Client focused team player working with multi-layered client work processes, procedures and systems. Currently working as Senior Project manager in WorleyParsons, Jack is responsible for managing gas fired combined cycle power project development for US and international clients. Current projects include OE Services for 2 x 400 MW single shaft H-Class, gas turbine projects in PA and several CCGT projects in the north east. Jack’s expertise also covers cogeneration projects.Prior to the current role, Jack was project manager for EPC execution for Singapore Parallel Train’s early works / enabling work EPC Contract involving temporary facilities, infrastructure development such as polymer storage area, Area-17, 18 Contracts. Jack was involved managing EPC projects in Singapore over 60 Million US$ involving multi-discipline EPC team.Prior to joining WorleyParsons, Jack has worked for over 8 years with German power equipment company Deutsche Babcock and its then subsidiary firms Balcke-Duerr. As General Manager of Balcke-Duerr, Jack managed cooling product business in Malaysia working from Kuala Lumpur and overseeing the South East Asian projects.At early part of his career, Jack has worked with power consulting firms in India. He was trained as thermal design engineer at Tata Consulting Engineer, Bangalore India. Jack then worked for Fichtner GmbH in Stuttgart, Fichtner India and IDEA Ltd - Developing projects in power, refinery cogeneration and special heat recovery projects for steel industries.
